Stumbled on this pub on our walk, decided to stop for a drink and ended up staying for some food. Loved the outdoor seating and you can't beat the view of the Kingsgate Bay & the castle. The service was quick, friendly and very attentive. The food was very delicious, they had my favourite as spec
This wonderfully located pub is perched on a clifftop overlooking Kingsgate beach. Service was attentive, courteous and efficient. Food delivery was prompt and pleasant. The food itself was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. I shall definitely return.
The outstanding food, the casual atmosphere, the excellent service, dogs more then welcome and everything must be experienced!Quite a pleasure even when the wind blows almost your plate away :) Splendid vista Great place to have a meal and rest after the dogs had nice walk and swim on the beach
They serving drinks before 12, but for food you need wait to 12 noon. However, it is worth waiting for your food, with a coffee or a cold "drink with foam". The portions are huge and the food is delicious. Parking, however, is £10 "per day", try to say you are going to a restaurant. apparently then
There were 6 of us and we booked a table for 3.30pm. We arrived earlier than the booking time and ordered some drinks and were escorted to our table. We each ordered a main meal and each chose something different. I ate the vegetarian option, mushroom stroganoff and it was delicious. We all enjoyed
Pub with parking, outside seating with great sea view. Food although a bit pricey was good and so was the service, nothing to complain about really. There is also a playground out the back for the kids.
Good pub food with outdoor seating and beautiful beach views of Kingsgate bay and of the big castle nearby. Also has kids play area indoors and a little outdoor park area. Parking is free if you dine here and you can hop over to the beach for a stroll.
We had lovely fish and chips amd drinks. Beautiful view this place has
The food, the sun and the view! Worth every penny! The day we chose was one of the few hot days we had this summer, it was crowded hence there was a delay in service but totally understand!
Nice little find as we were passing by. Lovely view and the food was really good, and you get lots of it. I had the warm goats cheese salad which was absolutely yummy. Well worth a visit. Only downside was we wasn't told about putting the food receipt in the car window, we found out by another coupl
RATING ONLY FOR FOOD!! I wish service would have been better and the staff. Food was really delicious. I must say that the chef is saving this restaurant. We ordered both veg and non veg food and all were flavourful. I can say that this was best food I ever had in such country side pubs. I wish man
Food was excellent and good size portions. Sat outside with lovely cliff top view of the beach & castle.
Down in Broadstairs visiting family. We haven't been in the Digby for quite a while so party a test and partly to see it was as good as we remember. We weren't disappointed. Great pub grub, great price and a great view. Would we go back, indeed. Good value all round.
What a great place to visit beautiful location plenty of parking, seating. We took a table outside with the clifftop views stunning! And decided to have a lunch! And what a great menu they have for all tastes. We went for the burgers and cajun butterfly chicken bread and Wow what huge serving we got
I took my elderly aunt and uncle there. The food was fabulous. I had my favourite bacon and brie baguette with chip. The prices were good too. If you sit outside, you can look over the sea. It was beautiful. Ramp for wheelchairs too.
Got a table in 45mins which is good for a bank holiday. Had a lovely table view. Will come again to visit Kingsgate bay.
We stopped for lunch on a sunny day and sat outside to enjoy the sea views. You couldn't ask much more for a location on a day like that. Food was fine, orders at the kiosk style counter outside. Prices were not unreasonable but not cheap for a family.
Great pub and staff with wonderful views. If you're in Broadstairs you have to go to The Captain Digby! Recommended. 😊
Beautiful views over to the white cliffs and sea. Can also see the windmill farm at the distance into the sea. Food was very well presented and delicious.
