Thought I’d give this Chinese a go since the reopened. Absolutely amazing and the best Chinese food I have tasted in a long time. Highly recommended
The food is fresh and very authentic. The staff were extremely friendly. I met the new owners and they are a lovely family.

Popped in for crispy chilli beef, spring rolls and duck. One the best I've had will definitely come back next time I'm in the area. Lovely owners as well - highly recommended.

I am a bloke that likes a good Chinese and I have tried a fair few in my time and as far as other chicken curry go to the point its questionable if it is pure chicken or some sort of genetically modified specie of bird cat or possibly dog is beyond me but the chicken curry from good chef was one of a kind my taste buds burst with excitement ad soon as the first fork full entered there space and the salt and chilli chips had me going back time after time a good all round meal for me my wife 6 kids 4 stepchildren 2 cats a dog and a budgie !!!

I have had Chinese from numerous places in Poole and have to say hands down the good chef is my favorite by far, also the chilli garlic salted chips are to die for, never had a problem and doubt I ever will, keep up the good work guys 👍

It’s a Chinese takeaway. It can’t be 5 stars. But it’s freshly cooked, quality food, and no MSG. None of the heart-racing or dry mouth that you suffer from most other Chinese takeaways, this is very well prepared simple and quality. It looks cheap and cheerful from the outside, don’t let it fool you. It’s a gem. Excellent

Your food is top notch, I love it my only criticism is not your food but your hours I think you should be open Mon as it joins with weekend plus it's a Bank Holiday day which is good as a customer but also from a business point of view too it would be a great earner.

We use regularly and the food is consistently good. Always excellent customer service. Best in the area.

saturday night was warned it would be be a while for our food (waited an hour and a half as quoted) food was good :)

Have found Good Chef to be far superior to any other chinese takeaway in the area. Food is very tasty, well cooked and reasonably priced. Can be a bit busy at times, but thats a good sign.

We weren't put off by the other review - the food was really nice and very quick service.

A very nice Chinese always polite when taking your order and always hot and tasty well worth the money so get your order in now as can be busy sometimes more so at the weekends but well worth the wait
