It's very much like an oldie world Inn feel inside with slight modern twist.
But it's not a fake !
this is a proper old building.
Prompt friendly welcome & service , great food & atmosphere .
Best burgers we have had ,ever !

I stopped by with some motorcycle friends to eat lunch and ordered a Burger with fries and a latte. Coffee was excellent and service prompt and staff polite. The bill was over £18 and I can even accept the 10% service charge that is automatically added to the bill. What shocked me though was being charged an extra 50p for a small bowl of Mayonnaise to accompany my lunch. The manager tried all ways to convince me of the justification for the cost but I’m sorry, I still think that is pretty appalling. I’d rather pay an extra 50p for the meal than be “hijacked” at the point it is too late to make an informed decision. I hasten to add that it is stated somewhere on the menu, which unfortunately I didn’t look at.

Staff are fantastic, food is great, lovely atmosphere. I'm a local and it's one of my favourite places...coffee and carrot cake is divine. My boys love the brownies. Beautiful surroundings too!

Nice coffee and tasty cakes. The outdoor seating area out the back is a nice spot when the weather is good. The coffees are on the pricier side, however (e.g. £4.50 for a mocha!).
