Would highly recommend for Sunday lunch. Delicious roast beef with all the trimmings, followed by apple crumble and custard. Reasonably priced and excellent customer service. Will definitely be returning!

We stopped here for an impromptu lunch - what an experience! The food is absolutely delicious! The buffalo sauce on the wings - perfection! And I got the recipe. The kids burger meal plus ice cream and the oak burger was sumptuous! I got a NHS discount was a cheeky little ice cream for my son. All in all, highly recommended!

No complaints, food was really good. Had the chicken burger which was delicious. Chill atmosphere but we went for an early lunch. The ladies who served us were really nice and friendly. Defo will be returning 😊

Excellent lunch at The Oak this weekend. We’ve just moved to the area, and will definitely be back.
Service was fantastic, very welcoming, and our dog loved all the attention (staff brought him water and found him a tennis ball to play with).

We were here for the first time, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful, the waiters are cheerful and friendly. a nice bonus, food for children is free what else do you need for a wonderful evening, we will definitely come back again

My new favourite pub! I can't believe I've not been before. The staff (especially Tom and Liam) were all so lovely and accommodating, the cocktails were gorgeous and the food incredible! I had the fish and chips and my friend had some small plates - it was all seriously tasty. We will definitely be back.

Lovely decor and garden. Dog and baby friendly. Great service and good selection of vegan options including 2 starters and 2 desserts! The sweetcorn ribs and cauliflower were lovely. The vegan burger could have had crunchier hash browns and the mushroom flatbread was a little steep on price for what it was. But all in all a lovely dinner.

Had a nice Sunday roast here yesterday but one negative. They offer chicken, beef, a mix of both (£2 more) or a veggie lunch. I asked 2 different staff if you got more for the mixed roast and both said yes, you basically get double the meat. Not true! My chicken was a kid's portion, so was the beef. The mix is a con job. Stick to the beef. It was very good. Friendly staff too - but don't kid the customers!
