today visited this cafe for the first time and an amazing slice of victoria sponge, two thick decadent layers of buttercream inside, fluffy moist sponge, just enough jam, a sprinkling of powder on top, pretty much the perfect cake!! Tea was good too.

Small but very nice cafe. Excellent cooked English breakfast. Very friendly staff. Outside seating part of which is covered.

Wife, daughter and dog all decided to have a break and a coffee here. Despite the cold we took seats outside. The staff came out with the food and even a couple of dog biscuits for Kylo. Food was delicious and warming and the coffee delightful. The staff are lovely and this is one of my favourite local cafés. Great variety and great tasting too.

Yummy sandwiches and toasties, great coffee and cakes! I’m yet to try breakfast but I’m sure it’s delicious. We live local and are always picking up lunch from here. The service is always friendly too.

From a few months back - I am so happy this place exists and that it is so close to home. The food is fresh, tasty and so reasonably priced. Great coffee too. Never leave! Can’t wait dine in again soon. Also a sneaking suspicion kiwis are involved which is an incredible bonus for this homesick New Zealander.

A bit of a local gem, this. Everything's fresh and prepared by hand. The coffee's good. Prices are fair. Staff are lovely. Mostly outdoor seating with a covered area (blankets supplied!) for when weather is inclement. What's not to like?
