A typical "greasy spoon" cafe. The food is good, large helpings and reasonably priced.
Unfortunately, now permanently closed due to covid losses.

It's on my route to work stop so its the occasional take away bacon sandwich and coffee. Very welcoming, clean and tidy. Would recommend.

Lovely and clean cafe with very nice toilets which I think is also important but I ordered cheese on toast and when it arrived it had obviously been done in a microwave because the cheese had smothered the bread with a pool of grease on the top if the cheese..... not at all appetizing. I asked them to put it under the grill and 10 mins later it was brought to me looking completely inedible.... It had been put back in the microwave. It looked horrible and I said I didn't want it. I then ordered fried egg on toast which was perfect!! I would eat there again but I would certainly not order cheese on toast!!
