Booked a table after a trip to London as we preferred to eat locally .
Service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
Food again excellent despite our firs choice of Dover sole was sold out but the bass was very good as an alternative.

My husband and I had our wedding receiption with you guys and it was absolutely fantastic. All the staff were wonderful, friendly and so helpful! The food was amazing and all the guests enjoyed it. It was really well organised and we had such a brilliant time! Would definitely recommend
Lovely lunch today in the restaurant. Excellent fish and chips and delicious desserts . The restaurant and bar area is kept so nice and clean by the very helpful staff. A special thanks to Vinnie our lovely waiter.
Lovely place, really well looked after and had some really nice furnishings. Although children are allowed, I wouldn't consider it 'Kid-friendly'. We had a lovely meal with friends on a Monday evening. The food was good, especially the garlic and mozzarella pizza starter and the fish and chips were light and not greasy. Cocktails were great. The server, John was so helpful and pleasant and very attentive - he did a great job.

Pub looks great from outside, well looked after and inviting.
Outside seats could be wiped dry as they were all wet, so if someone wanted to sit outside, it would be a problem. (It was sunny on the day, but raining the night before)

To our delight, we came across The George on a shopping trip back from Bromley & we're glad we did. We stopped off for a drink at first & today we went back to have lunch. You must try this place if you haven’t already - this is not your average pub grub! This is fine dining and if I’m totally honest, I’m actually not sure why this restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin plate! The quality and delivery of the food definitely deserves one.

Everything was great. The George has become the place that we go to for family meals and special occasions. The reason for this is that the food and service are always of a consistently high standard and the staff are always friendly and attentive.
Very quiet and good table. Food was OK but not excellent . Music playing which made it difficult to have a conversation with friends.I think when quiet , nobody needs that noise.
We all enjoyed our choosen meal options. Quite a good choice of fish dishes, not too many meat. Good choice of drinks. Service was not rushed, but good.

Thank you for a lovely Saturday afternoon at George, we was very welcoming from the start , staff working very professionally around our 10 ppl table including kids which can be challenging. I can't ignore the food as I must say was very delicious, fresh and served professionally.
