Have been coming to Kokoro Bromley for years - eating inside, at their chairs and tables out-front and getting deliveries - and there is a lot to like about it. Really tasty food - the tofu katsu curry most of the time is sensational, there are lots of hot options, sushi and cans of pop. They have very friendly staff and it’s good value. The downsides are sometimes the curry sauce for the katsu is watery, there can be long waits for food occasionally and the seating isn’t as nice as it used to be (before the pandemic it was much nicer to eat indoors here) and the levels of cleanliness on the tables and floor could be markedly improved. I will keep coming back though - thanks!
Ordered a large chicken katsu and my friend had sweet and sour chicken.
Service wasn't the best, felt very tense and seemed as though everyone was unhappy.
The food was quite yummy, the portion sizes are great. Sweet and sour was quite dry and the katsu needed extra tub of sauce but overall a yummy lunch!
Trying to look for a sushi place in Bromley and found google suggested Kokoro
At first, we’re not sure, but when we looked inside; the food looked delicious.
We had the Sweet and Chilli Rice (Regular portion)

And the Salmon Nagiri Set
The salmon was fresh, but the rice of the sushi was a bit packed, like not that fresh anymore, but overall still good.
The sweet and chilli chicken is so good! Definitely coming here for this. Plus the waiter gave us so many chickens 😱
And the seaweed salad! Omg finally our cravings have been fulfilled 😍 it’s good and definitely worth it!
The price itself are affordable. Total for all three (plus extra ginger) was £15.95 💙
Friendly staff, generous portions, but they definitely overcooked the sweet chilli chicken, it was way too chewy.

Got the katsu curry, a chicken dumpling and a spring roll. The dumpling and the sring roll was ok but loved the curry. The stuff were nice
Very good value for money and well executed Japanese dishes. It's a no frills place where you place your order at the counter but I highly recommend it.
Great food, if you like spice go for the sweet and spicy chicken, the sushi is fresh and great quality.
Food was amazing and served nice and hot. staff were friendly, service was straight forwards and reasonably priced. also worth noting that they provide both chopsticks and disposable cutlery for customer preference. (chicken katsu curry mixed with sweet and sour chicken and rice on the left, vegetable gyoza soup on the right, had already tucked into both quite a bit before I decided to take a picture so don't be deceived)
Generous quantity of food and great fast service.

A young hijabi girl called Sahar served me she did a great job because i told her i was lactose intolerant and had fish allergy so she helped very well and was super professional and kind
