Kokoro

Have been coming to Kokoro Bromley for years - eating inside, at their chairs and tables out-front and getting deliveries - and there is a lot to like about it. Really tasty food - the tofu katsu curry most of the time is sensational, there are lots of hot options, sushi and cans of pop. They have very friendly staff and it’s good value. The downsides are sometimes the curry sauce for the katsu is watery, there can be long waits for food occasionally and the seating isn’t as nice as it used to be (before the pandemic it was much nicer to eat indoors here) and the levels of cleanliness on the tables and floor could be markedly improved. I will keep coming back though - thanks!

Ordered a large chicken katsu and my friend had sweet and sour chicken. Service wasn't the best, felt very tense and seemed as though everyone was unhappy. The food was quite yummy, the portion sizes are great. Sweet and sour was quite dry and the katsu needed extra tub of sauce but overall a yummy lunch!

This establishment is very conveniently located if you are shopping around in Bromley and looking for very fast service of great food quality. The toppings and base (choice of rice or noodles) are already made so it is just a matter of choosing your food items and paying for them, they serve on the spot to reduce wait time which is perfect if you are in a rush. The queue can get long but it does pass quite quickly. The food is well seasoned and the large portion size although a bit pricey in comparison to other fast food places of the same food type at £9.15 is very filling and you get a choice of 2 meats if you opt for this. They do display all allergen information which is very helpful and you are given a taster for any topping choice which is great in helping those who are undecided. I do highly recommend. They do have a seating area indoor and outdoor but these are not necessarily always tidied up so just bare that in mind when opting to dine in. This is also halal so a great bonus! I would however not recommend getting a drink as they are quite pricey in comparison to other fast food restaurants of similar style so if you can bring one beforehand would be better if you want to save a little on your lunch.
