Been here a few times now for a meal out, with friends and family.
The restaurant has a lovely informal vibe, yet formal attention to detail! The staff are always friendly and the service is great. I have observed how well they all work together from the kitchen to the front of house and out to the table, to ensure the best experience of the fantastic food served.
The food is good quality, good value and very tasty, whether it is one of the themed nights or just the main menu!!
I would definitely recommend and always look forward to going back!
Note Parking: Plenty of parking spaces, except when peak times, and make sure you add your vehicle registration!
A brilliant place to eat with a Mediterranean menu.
There are a great choice of drinks to be had also including Estrella and Amstel, you will also find an ale or two.
There is a very good choice of starters and main courses too.
There is a dessert and coffee menu available.
The staff are very friendly and helpful to all.
The food is of very good quality and there is also offers to be had if you join their mailing list.
There are also set menus available on a Monday where you can get any 2 courses for 19.95 which is brilliant value.
There is also a prix fix menu available most days too.
Sunday lunch is very popular.
Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

I have now been on numerous occasions and EGO always delivers top quality food and service.
The place looks great. The customer service was excellent. The meal was cooked and presented just fine. The place has a lovely calm atmosphere. I gave the food only 3 stars, because I mistakenly ordered Moroccan Lamb, which I'm not a fan off. But that's my fault, not there's. So overall, I'd definitely go back.
Found my new fave restaurant! Food was incredible. Service is bang on. Chefs work hard and can see your food being cooked. Would highly recommend. Walked away with a recipe for there soup it was that good and tipped both the waitress and chefs. Food was so fresh and tasty from the starter to the pudding. I’ll be back 🤣 I have never and said I would ever eat out for Christmas but I’m tempted to eat here for Christmas this year.
Food was so good! Only 4 stars as the portion seemed small. Staff were so helpful serving 25 people is not easy. Would happily come here again
Can't fault the meal we had here, the gluten free menu is superb and delicious, waitress was knowledgable about coeliac disease. The mushroom starter was really great, Steak was nice, and the chocolate brownie was SUPERB

My husband, adult son and I stopped to have a late lunch here, on our way from the south coast to Scotland. Oh. My. Gosh. It was absolutely wonderful all round, from the warm welcome to the utterly delicious food. The pastry on the steak pie was sublime!
I heartily recommend this fine establishment, and only wish that I lived close by, because this would be a regular haunt for me!
Really lovely meal, food was delicious, staff were amazing so friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
The food was amazing, cooked fresh and to order, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend this place. The price isn't too bad we had 2 starters 2 mains and 2 pints of cider and was less than £70.
