Got to this place on a glorious day (Yes they do exist) and everywhere looks nice on a good day. However I had a nice experience despite a rough passage over some surfaces with my mobility scooter. Lovely setting and enjoyed a wee gin.

Lovely place to sit, enjoy delicious food and a little history. All in addition to being a charity going on a heritage site.

Good coffee and tea - nice place to get out of the wind and rain in the lake district

Found this teashop towards the end of the day best find in a long time.
Great cheese scones and cakes all homemade. The owner was a very welcoming person and gave my wife and myself a full history of the place.
PS the name has changed to Bettyann's tearooms

I visited for an afternoon tea with my wife as it was a suprise tea for my fiftyth birthday. The girls who worked there were very friendly and spoilt our dog Harvey rotten . If you want to go for an amazing afternoon tea you must visit this tea parlour . Best afternoon tea I've had anywhere and I've had many at different places in the country . YUMMY
