Stopped off here for a quick coffee. Lovely little cafe. Cheese scones and black pudding rolls went down a treat. This is a great wee break stop and the service was excellent. 10/10. 🌟

Ate here twice during our stay in the area in mid September. One day for lunch, next day for breakfast. Both were great, and excellent service. Met the owner who clearly loves her business and is constantly looking for new ideas and improvements. Highly recommended.

We descended on the cafe this morning (12 of us) for an impromptu lunch while out for a cycle. The cafe couldn't have been more helpful, even when one of our party ate the wrong lunch 🫣 First class service, great food and a lovely welcome. A gem of a cafe in the Borders 🥇

Fantastic experience at Laurel's. 8 of us arrived with no reservation and the staff fitted us in immediately even though they were busy. Staff were fantastic, food was incredible and you must try the home baked cakes. I cannot fault our visit and if you are in the area I throughly recommended you visit.

This is a very cute cafe/tea room via a breathtaking drive to Edinburgh. The cakes - chocolate/caramel shortbread, lemon drizzle, coffee cake, warm scones , all day breakfast and soup was incredibly good. The lady running the place was super sweet ams made us feel welcome.
