A "mini-mart" more like a safe haven for weary travelers. This place is right next to the whisky distillery and served me one of the best bacon and egg rolls I have ever had. Will happily come back again next time I am out this far.

The coffee is truly excellent here. I had a hot breakfast roll. Bacon, sausage and black pudding and it was exceptional. We also had cake which was very good indeed.
We had a scrumptious chocolate brownie. There's benches and tables outside and a lovely view across Loch Indaal to Bowmore.

Best coffee on Islay by a mile. Great wee shop, friendly staff, stocks lots of unusual brands, outstanding selection of gluten free crisps! Includes post office too.
Also Open on a SUNDAY! 🎉 which for anyone inexperienced with the Hebrides is an absolute rarity

We would normally be there now enjoying a true Islay welcome but unfortunately can't be due to the current restrictions. Looking forward to a time when we can all visit again and enjoy the coffee, company and the odd bacon and egg roll. Always a warm welcome.

The General Store/post office/Jennie aw’thing shop in the village, so don’t expect the Ritz. Cracking coffee and toasties. Cake damn fine too. Very reasonably priced. Super efficient and charming service! See you next time.

If you want to experience true hospitality than this place is a must visit. The coffee is excellent and the staff is more that kind. Do sit down on the red sofa! Enjoy! Ps, great place to give your tummy a bottom before doing a Whisky tour next door!

Excellent bacon roll. Great coffee. Wonderful views of Bowmore across the water. Cafe owner was great fun. Handy shop. Seats outside and inside. Great for lunch or coffee stop.

Cafe and shop. Very good coffee. Made us up some nice rolls to take away. Quite a small place. The shop area had quite an eclectic selection of goods.
