Fantastic place to eat with great food. This is a more traditional pub that hasn't been spoiled becoming 'gastro' service is very quick, well presented food, good menu selection and nice atmosphere.

Lovely Family walk at Stowe, needed somewhere for lunch. Managed to get a table in a dog friendly area for 6. Only just over a mile from Stowe excellent food and lovely service, recommended

Stopped by on off chance as never eaten there before, was not dissaponited, Best roast potatoes an gravy ,new go to place for Sunday dinner, an friendly smiling staff ,pleasure to eat there

I popped in this pub not being from the area the young waitress was really nice to me took time out of her day to talk to me and make me feel comfortable :) really polite and funny can't wait to pop in again next year :)

We were regulars here for their amazing roasts until their closure.
