Have eaten here on multiple occasions but had my first ever Sunday roast from this pub. The most beautiful lamb shank I've ever eaten! Always have fantastic service here, but Ross and Ben really went above and beyond to make sure everything was top notch! Also loving the cheap ales at the minute. Will be back for more

We came in on Thursday for dinner. I really liked the different themed rooms, darts and pool available I'm sure its great to watch sports here. Unfortunately not a 5 because the lasagne wasn't very nice the break that came with it on the other hand was lovely. However the staff were all nice and there wasn't too long to wait. My son enjoyed his steak and I enjoyed my gammon and eggs.

Great location in the centre of town. Friendly welcoming team, good food and on two really hot and sticky nights very powerful air-conditioning that allowed for really good nights sleep. This is an historic building so yes the floorboards creak and aren't particularly even - but that does add a little to the charm of the place.
