Liked it, dog friendly, nice old pub. Not much choice for bitter drinkers (John Smith's ☹️) but decent Guinness. Would return if I was in the area.

lovely pub with a beautiful view of the lake from the beer garden. Very cosy and quaint interior with lots of seating. Great staff and good clean beer. The breakfasts are lovely, they also do a breakfast challenge plate which most can't do as its huge! Don't take my word for it, next time your in the vicinity check it out for yourself.

Always enjoy popping in here on 1 of our walks sometimes sit out weather permitting(John & Sophie have done an amazing job outside for us Customers to enjoy)the staff are the best so pleasant & welcoming

Sat outside in The Trap, they have obviously worked hard to create a really lovely outside space. Teamed up with Ricebox Events for excellent pizza. Shame about the weather! 🤣

Despite the cheese and wine night, music was more than good beautiful young woman filled the atmosphere between bordem for the past half hour, For Alcohol (white red and processe was more than good for the price to be honest, cheese is no doubt from (aldi) at least some of it) still wont complain from being a food critic from the business very cosy little pub (will visit one day again soon)
