Great food, friendly staff and a nice place to be. :-) We both had the butterfly chicken burger and upgraded the fries to truffle fries. Was absolutely lovely! Recommended, there was no wait for a table either as we chose to sit inside. If you want to sit outside there may be a wait due to it being the busy season but worth it 👌

Very pleasant looking place, especially outside when the sun is out sat next to the river. We had to sit outside anyway, as dogs are not allowed inside. So please note this if you are visiting and it’s raining or really bad weather. Also please don’t let the empty tables fool you on the photo. We were lucky to get that table, because once the sun came out they soon filled up around us. Very clean, tidy and a very friendly service. Food tasted fantastic would definitely eat here again if visiting Bude. A***

Lovely place to stop for food! We sat outside and had an early dinner after a day at the beach, the weather was lovely and we sat outside. They were very busy and we were lucky to get a seat outside (although there are plenty) and although the staff were very busy serving everyone, food and drinks etc didn't take very long The food was exceptional - my partner has the vegan "fish" and chips and it was delicious! My pasta (forgotten the name) was incredible too and I rarely choose pasta when eating out but I'm so glad I did. Our waiter was so lovely and friendly too. Definitely recommend!

The banana blossom "fish and chips" was simply amazing. The staff, what can I say... They were absolutely wonderful. When finding out I would be out very late on the canal, and likely to be cold, I was given 2 blankets to help keep me comfortable. As it happens, I was sleeping when we left and did not return them, as yet. I will launder and return them before I leave for home in America. Thank you for all you did for me. I hope you know who you are and remember. You helped make my day better than just bearable. Bude is gorgeous and I loved it there. Thank you, again.
