2 Belle Vue Avenue

My partner and I had a wonderful meal here tonight. We ordered the chorizo and the prawns to start. They were amazing! We then ordered the paella (which was delicious and huge too) and the chicken. To finish we ordered the wrong mess to share. It was incredible. The customer service was amazing and the staff were super friendly. Very intimate atmosphere and a real hidden gem.

Intimate, friendly definitely worth visiting when in Bude. Leia, who looked after us was amazing, so friendly and so professional. The meal was perfect, starting with scallops, samphire, serrano ham with hollandaise, and paprika dusted calamari, lemon aioli, followed by sea bass fillets peas a la francais and fricase of new potatoes. Booked a table at 2 Belle View (May 2021) based on their revues. This little gem is tucked away in a side street and easily missed, but its well worth a visit. We skipped starters and made do with the generous complimentary bread and oil. My wife had 3 small plates as a kind of tapas and she said that the Calamari was the best she had ever had. I had the rump steak with crispy onions which was cooked perfectly for me (rare to medium), it was very tender with only a little gristle and super flavoursome. Sweets were Brownie for my wife and ice cream with amaretto and espresso for me, both were lovely. Portions were generous, service was very friendly and efficient, the Bill (including a couple of drinks each and the tip) was £70. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the belle view and will defiantly be returning there when we are next in Bude. Thanks guys, Kay and Nigel Rhodes

Our second visit, and this little restaurant really delivered again. If I could give it 10 stars I would. The food was magnificent, the steak was delicious, the duck was the best I’ve ever had, service also amazing. The food is spectacular and very reasonably priced. If anyone wants to eat out in Bude, give this beautiful restaurant a try! It is really well worth it! Will see you again soon!
