We had the pleasure of having Chef Sargent for our intimate wedding (15) at The White House in Poughill. I can’t praise this man enough. Nothing was a problem and he talked us through the menus and how flexible he can be.
Chef Sarge is a talented chef and the wedding food was perfect. On the day he made everything easy for us. Paige was a dream too and such a lovely girl. The food was incredible and everyone said so! I was so impressed with their calm approach and how everything just appeared and then disappeared - like tidy fairies!
If you are looking for a private chef then Chef Sarge is your man. Such a top man. My Mum is now looking for him to come to Gloucestershire for her 80th celebrations!

Chef Dave cooked for me and a group of around 15 for a hen party and I can't recommend him highly enough. The food was so delicious but it was Dave and his team's service that was so brilliant - happy to adapt to whatever level of service you'd like (e.g. just food or serving drinks, too) and so friendly and warm, which was particularly well-received by a big, loud group! Feel lucky to have had him cater for our evening.
I can't praise Dave Sargent highly enough. We rented a house in Cornwall for 2 weeks and had all the friends and relations we hadn't seen for 2 years to come and stay. Dave provided spectacular lunches and dinners for us every day with numbers varying between 18 and 8 . The meals were better and more imaginative than at a grand restaurant and the service brilliant . It transformed the holiday as all the worries of producing meals and the thought of shopping for so many people vanished .Also everyone LOVED the food and really enjoyed wondering what the next meal would be. Dave also remained calm when the numbers at a meal either suddenly increased or decreased at no notice . Very highly recommended !
Dave cooked for us at our wedding in 2019. We hired The Stack, Trelion, Cornwall for a life long memorable week. Dave’s food on the day was so superb that when it came to marking my Wife’s 40th two years later we returned to Cornwall & hired him for her Birthday dinner. Despite lobsters being out of season in December he arranged for local fishermen from St Ives to source them for our guests. Nothing was too much trouble. His service, assisted by Claire, is truly first class. He knows his craft & is the consummate professional.
Dave cooked for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and it was just perfect. The service was excellent, food was fantastic and Dave and Paige were lovely. So worth the trip! 🇨🇦
We spent Easter weekend in Molescombe House to celebrate my 60th birthday along with friends and family. Chef Dave was booked for Saturday evening, he prepared a 5 course meal which was better than we could hope for. Truly delicious. The evening was made so special thanks to our guests and Chef Davies’s delicious food and relaxed, happy personality assisted by Clare who was wonderful. I shall always treasure these memories and the wonderful evening spent in Molescombe House.
Chef Dave also prepared a very enjoyable afternoon tea for 10 on Easter Sunday.
We highly recommend Chef Dave, great communication skills even better culinary skills.
