Nice pub! The locals are a little bit clicky but theres a nice open fire in the snug and a pool table round the other end of the main bar area. Will absolutely go again sometime.

One of the best pub meals I have ever had.
I shall be going back again and again and again.
The meat was perfectly cooked. Delicious. The display of roasted veg in the centre of the plate was exquisite. Tasted good too.
Side vegetables was lovely. Cauliflower cheese was divine. Yorkshire pud was massive.
I couldn't eat it all, but I wish I could.

Stopped for lunch. Its a lovely pub with a good sized garden. Staff were excellent and service was quick. Great choice of food and all well priced. Highly recommended

Lovely village pub with good social distancing. Had Sunday lunch here today, it was excellent. Such a good choice of meats and vegetables which were perfection.

Went for Subday lunch which was really excellent. The main menu was on offer as well, with a good selection to suit most tastes. Beautifully cooked and presented. Absolutely delicious, and competitively priced. Definitely coming back.

Very nice pub, good beer, good food, good service for a busy day. Would be 5 star but gravy is served in thimbles and even tho you ask for more you basically get another thimbles worth.

We have lived in the village since 1991 and finally we have a great pub. The revamp has brought the interior right up to date. Have only been for drinks to date but will definitely be booking for a meal very soon. Good luck to the new owners, you’ve done a great job 👍

Good selection of beers and some great whiskies on the shelf, I've eaten once... It wasn't incredible and it took over 40 minutes to arrive but it was good, freshly made and tasty. The Baker's has moved on, no longer an uncomfortable stuffy old atmosphere!
