This morning I went for a scrumptious breakfast at the Tea Rooms inside the Wine Bar, Buntingford High Street. Great service, food and coffee! Even some cheeky little bunnys in the garden to keep toddlers occupied. Would highly recommend you pay them a visit. Plenty of space for buggy parking outside too! Yummy! Xx
Had a 'belated' Valentine's dinner with Lynn.
Great food, great people, great service, great place !!!!
Thanks Chrissie and Henry for helping make it another great night out.

Came here for the first time on a Saturday, table booked for 18:30. Arrived a few minutes early, but was no issue and was greeted and taken to our table towards the back.
Ordered our drinks from a huge selection of different wines, spirits, cocktails, beers and soft drinks and they arrived quite promptly. She had a wine, I had a Meantime IPA, we also had some tap water for the table.
We decided to go for the 'small bites' plates so we could have a bit of a relaxed, tapas-style dinner and they recommended 2-3 dishes per person on the menu.
We went for;
Baby Chorizo, Halloumi Fries with Sweet Chilli Mayo, Butterbean & sweet potato hummus with Flatbread, Truffle & Parmesan Fries, Slow Cooked Pigs Cheek and Cod Cheek Tikka.
All dishes were cooked and presented to an extremely decent standard, and there were no major complaints about any of them. Although I do have a single piece of constructive criticism;
-The Cod Cheek Tikka could've been served with a naan bread as it was a slightly saucier dish.
For me personally the Cooked Pigs Cheek was my favourite dish. I would've loved a double portion of that and mash and have that as a full blown main meal. The combination of textures in the dish was amazing, and the flavours were absolutely spot on too!
Afterwards, we decided to skip pudding and have a random cocktail we've never had before. She had an espresso martini, I had a Tiki Mai Tai - Both were actually really nice and we'd definitely order them again when on a night out.
Overall, an extremely nice evening out, the food and service was absolutely spot on.
My only negative for the evening was the atmosphere as we were sat next to a rowdy table of 6 who didn't have a volume knob, nor knew how to keep their P's and Q's to a minimum whilst in a restaurant.
Obviously that's not something I can control, and isn't an every day thing for the restaurant, just bad timing for us.
Either way, we will 100% return in the future and try out their steak sharer as I got major food envy when I saw that coming out!
Amazing food, amazing service. It’s nice and cosy. Food is always fresh and the staff members always has a nice smile and a good greeting.
An amazing garden at the back .

Only had a few drinks in here but it was a very pleasant place to sit ,excellent staff who friendly and very sociable.The place was spotlessly clean and tidy.
Attention to small detail was added to drink…ice, cucumber. Will definitely return and have some food. Highly recommend
I recently dined at the Peppermill and was thoroughly impressed! Upon arrival with my husband and son, the friendly staff warmly welcomed us and immediately took our drink order. Our servers were attentive and considerate throughout our experience, ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable meal. We opted for a three-course meal, with my starter being the tasty beetroot and goats cheese, while my husband enjoyed the king prawns and squid. For our main course, we both had the roast beef, along with roasted chicken and deliciously creamy cauliflower cheese on the side. Our son couldn't resist the kid's burger and chips. As for dessert, I indulged in the cheese board, my husband raved about the sticky toffee pudding, and our son enjoyed his ice cream. Overall, the food was exceptional, and we received brilliant service from the moment we arrived until we left. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will certainly be returning soon. It's a fantastic spot in Buntingford that I wish we had tried sooner. Do not miss out - check it out for yourself!
I've been here twice. The first time, we popped in for a quick drink in the garden, and it started to pour down. The staff couldn't move quickly enough to help with umbrellas and then clear up after. Went back for Sunday lunch a few weeks later and loved every bit of it. I had the beef, which was lovely, and the rest of the family had all the 'picky' smaller dishes to share. It was all beautiful. I'm definitely going back.
Staff are amazing polite funny professional. The food is out of this world.
Will recommend to all I know an even the ones I don't. 10 out of 10
There wasn't a free table here on Wednesday evening. Will be back.
Wonderful, helpful staff. Food was fabulous and plentiful. Manager kindly suggested we had ordered too much for the size of our party and offered to scale down the dishes or package up leftovers to takeaway. They packaged up in lovely individually labelled paper boxes. This is our second visit and we will definitely be returning customers.
Unreal food, great wine and friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend, some of the best food locally which could easily rival top London restaurants. 5*
We had the steak sharing platter which was cooked beautifully. The staff were friendly and efficient. My dog was allowed in too 🙂 (bar area or outside only)
Very busy and great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend!
The food was excellent. We had a few small plates to share. Everything was cooked to perfection. Complements to the chef & the friendly staff.
