We visited after searching for gluten free in the area (we're on holiday)
Our daughter is coeliac and the GF fish and chips were such a treat. The owner explained a family member is coeliac which explains the absolutely amazing service and attention to detail when catering for GF. We ordered so much as its just so rare to get all the GF choices in a chipshop, it was delicious. The pineapple and potatoes fritters were delicious, nuggets, Battered sausage and Battered Cod, portion sizes were very generous too. Staff in the shop were a delight, lots of smiles and banter between them, lovely team. Thank you so much.

Was ok just annoys me when places cut the meat of the kebab and then dunk it in a greasy pot to take back out to put on the kebab, 3 staff 1 serving the others doing just eat or equivalent orders. Chips and non greasy parts of the kebab good though would go again.

Very busy tonight as they had a lot of just eat orders for delivery so I had a long wait for my order but the wait was worth it.

I’ve been a regular customer for the last 13/14 years and have always loved going. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful, always making an effort to get to know customers. As for the food, the high quality has been consistent for as long as I can remember, with the fish and chips being a highlight on the menu. Overall, I would highly recommend Brookside Fish Bar to anyone around the Hinckley/Burbage area.

This is our first order from here after looking for a new place that does gluten free fish n chips, def not disappointed. Owner is Celiac which always helps. Decent portion sizes, batter on GF and normal fish was decent, chips weren’t soggy even after a 10 min drive home. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent customer service, we was looking for gluten free fish and chips but the gluten free frier had already been turned off when we phoned. Got a phone call back saying that they will turn it back on for us and this was 15 minutes before they closed. My wife and our youngest son could have the gluten free fish and chips that they was craving.
Excellent food, excellent portion sizes and went the extra mile for my family. Keep up the good work.
