We popped into the lovely little Cotswold town of Burford again,having been here many times before.....It was around lunch time so we decided to go into the Priory Tea rooms for our refreshments.....It's not a very big place inside but we were lucky enough to get a window side table.........We ordered our food and drinks ,without having to wait long as the service was excellent from the lovely friendly and welcoming staff.....When the food arrived I must say it was a very large portion and well worth the money,that being the chilly and cheese jacket potatoes which were very nice, personally I would have liked a bit of butter on the potato before the filling but that's just me,it was still very enjoyable.......As with all the buildings in this sweet little Cotswold town it was lovely and quaint inside,a great place to pop into if feeling peckish.....👍

Only went in for breakfast and a cup of tea as we where just visiting for the day, both where delicious.
Also never been anywhere where toilets were so clean.
Well worth a visit,and we will return.

And needed a coffee and sandwich and wow what a great place
We sat outside for a spot of people watching:-)
The sandwich was sourdough with bacon Brie and cranberry

My wife and i stayed at the Priory tea rooms for the bank holiday(end may).
Making our reservation for three nights as it was our wedding anniversary, i phoned the Priory before hand to see if they would do some chocolates and wine for our arrival as a surprise for my wife .
Kim was excellent at what she done and our service and stay was class 1 no problems at all and all staff was so helpful.
Will definitely return and recommend
Delicious little spot we enjoyed while on a tour of the Cotswolds today. Delicious scones and tea. Very kind people and nice and clean.
Lovely and clean inside and out, including the toilets and located in the High Street. Nice selection of snacks and food, very friendly staff.

If you ever go here, DO NOT MISS on trying the Sourdough and Egg Sandwich. I’ve never had sourdough as good as the one at The Priory Tea Rooms Cafe. It’s super soft, melt in the mouth, delicious Sourdough bread! The Sourdough is so Spongy, it soaks in the egg yolk. I’ve tried Sourdoughs at a couple of places, but this one is unbeatable!
It’s a nice and cozy place. I went there in the winters and I had the most perfect breakfast here.

Cajun burger and latte were superb. Nice small place so when it's busy IT'S BUSY!
Price was a bit expensive but this must have been the first time I paid for something I was hesitant about and actually LOVED the food and was FULL!
Service was nice and polite but sometimes people in the area can be snotty which brought the atmosphere down (since we had a 1 year old and they through looks our way), other than that, we'll visit again!
