Have only ever visited during the day so not sure about atmosphere, never very busy during lunchtimes.
Large car park and roadside parking nearby should that fill up.
Food is okay, nothing to blow your socks off but its alright albeit a bit pricey for what it is.
Staff all friendly enough from what I've experienced.
We were lucky enough to win a three course meal for four at the dog show recently. We redeemed our voucher this evening & we’re given a warm, friendly welcome. The food was delicious & the staff are all lovely. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

They do Craft fairs, hog roasts, car shows and live music, aswell as a plethora of other things.
Best looking pub I’ve ever seen ( and Christmas there is just magical) and a huge garden area, we had the roast last Sunday, food was to die for, locally sourced and freshly cooked. Would give extra stars if I could. Thanks Dee and her team, keep up the good work 👍
I have been visiting this lovely pub for years. Our last visit a table of 8 and we all had roast dinners which were absolutely gorgeous. The service we receive is alway warm and welcoming! I highly recommed!

I want to say how amazing they were a very last minute booking request as our current booking had “not” booked us in. The woolpack were very accommodating and managed to seat and serve all 18 off us. They were great food was amazing. So thank you so much.
Lovely setting, attentive service and freshly cooked food. We went for lunch on a Saturday, fairly busy but we were looked after so well
Father's Day and our original venue cancelled our booking with one hours notice due to a power cut.
The Woolpack found a table for us, thank god. There were seven of us.
The "Sunday Roasts" were excellent, and my wife ( she's very fussy) commented how she enjoyed the meal and it was better than the food at our original pub of choice.
Good choice of beers and a special offer on Father's Day of a free pint for Dads. But you did have to have the kids with you as proof 😆
Will definitely keep the Woolpack in mind for the future. Small personal point, maybe have a wider choice of spiced rum.
Overall, the family had a great meal. The staff serving were friendly and we had a laugh with them. 10/10
A lovely large garden area divided very attractively onto many discrete areas, no feeling of being close to housing or roads.

Staff very friendly and helpful. My family loves the the food, it's not much what's offered but it's delicious. 😋(Apple crumble)😋 with custard and cream.
