Today was my best experience here for a long while. We ate at a table and even though it was lunchtime, service was super quick! There were 3 of us and unfortunately my burger was wrong, I went to the counter to get it sorted and the correct burger turned up 5 mins later. Very very good service today, hope this continues!
Visited about 11.45 food wasn't too long, didn't get dips with food ordered but was hot. Car park tidy no litter anywhere. Cashier was friendly at pay window.
It’s a run of the mill McDonald’s, so not really much to complain about you. You know what you’re getting with McDonald’s.
The problem I find with this place is you’re always sent to the car park to wait for food. I’m not sure exactly why but it seems like every other McDonald’s can get the food to you at the end window, but this place no matter what if it’s busy or quiet, makes you park up in the car park.
And it doesn’t matter. If you pick a main menu item with no modifications to it, that thing still takes ages to come.
Again, I really don’t know why this is the case, but it’s annoying to be sure

McDonald's is more of a guilty pastime rather than pleasure, for me. You know how sometimes you just want a McDonald's but can't explain why? Just goes to show advertising works, whether you like it or not! Generally visits are as expected: drive-thru for speed of service; staff friendly and surprisingly not too jaded, although rarely recognisable... (staff Turnover due to promotion, or other?); park up due to additional time required for typically abnormal order (kids, eh?); wait a couple of minutes; food usually hot and occasionally correct per bill; tastes reliably consistent, although burgers not even in the same league as homemade; chips always more salty than we'd make for ourselves, but we don't appear to like as much salt as the accepted norm; not worth considering other offerings unless a promotion demands it. Voilà. Now recycle everything, except you shouldn't really because it's mostly used and/or greasy... but there's loads of it!... Hide it in a neighbour's bin and it's not really that serious... or is it? Aaaaaagh! But kinda yum.
Starting to a bit better in there staff are nicer seems a few new staff so maybe that's why. Not so many just eat delivery drivers/ deliveroo drivers so people eating in actually get their food now horraayyy. Just a shame the mcflurey machine is not working. Rumour has it is staff don't like cleaning it!
