We moved to the area a few months ago and have been trying different local restaurants. I so wish we’d found Pera sooner. I can’t rate it highly enough. Wonderful, attentive and polite service, delicious food with generous portions, great choice of drinks, and a lovely atmosphere. We really liked the murals on the wall too.
So looking forward to going again!
Brilliant atmosphere, incredible food (vegetable Mousaka is insanely good) and lovely staff. Beautiful interior with nice views onto the main high street. Would 100% recommend for a great meal and night out!

First visit here with family who've eaten here before. Warm and friendly service, clean, good food and plenty of it. All dishes were served up apart from mine. The owner came over to apologise and say he'd sent it back to be remade because he wasn't happy with it. As we left he handed me a takeaway bag containing Baclava as an apology. Definitely recommend this place.
The food in this place is absolutely fantastic and very reasonable considering the quality. Service was outstanding and family owned. Will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend
Had the two course main from lunch menu for Sunday lunch (one main one side): skewered lamb with hummus all served with rice, salad, and warm flatbread. Attentive service without ever being intrusive, immaculately clean, but most of all great food that had a real homemade taste to it, especially the bread which tasted very much as if it were just made. Will be back.
Great atmosphere and amazing food, fast service. The restaurant is clean and quiet, despite being on the main street. The meats are perfect the starter meze selection is very good too.
Wonderful birthday meal at Pera. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was excellent. Will be returning soon!
Best restaurant in Burgess Hill. I am delighted that this gem of a restaurant exist in West Sussex. Highly recommended!!
