We loved our visit to this cafe!
The staff are lovely, it's got a really nice cozy atmosphere and prices are reasonable.
Our food was delicious and the portions are great. We came here on a whim while I'm holiday and are so glad we did!

1st visit whilst staying at Haven.Visited twice whilst on a Monday to Friday break as don't think could be bettered.
Frontage doesn't do justice to what is a large cafe with an retentive food and ice cream menu and they do my favourite Knickerbocker glory. We had the ploughman's one lunchtime. I had ham and cheddar and it came with a whole 8apple and it was ho.w cooked ham delicious.
I lwill certainly be back when in arr snd recommend.

Been here for over 50 years food usually good but the ice cream is 1st choice every time for my children now following on with the grandchildren can we go to Forte's for ice cream please

Great place is Fortes and historic place too which has been on the same place for as long as I know and had a knicker bocker glory and also had 3 scoops of ice cream in one cone. I would recommend Fortes to anyone who visits Burnham on Sea or is a local and wants to have time to themselves especially on a nice sunny day like it was today (Bank Holiday Monday).

A roomy cafe/restaurant with friendly helpful staff. Our Sunday roast was well presented but the meat was not tender which spoiled the experience a little. We had the pork. However our banana boat desert was very impressive & delicious. Great location just off the seafront. We thought the price of £10.75 for the roast was very reasonable but the desert at £6.95 we felt was excessive even though it was excellent. (Prices as of May 2023) Will definitely go again.
