A roomy cafe/restaurant with friendly helpful staff. Our Sunday roast was well presented but the meat was not tender which spoiled the experience a little. We had the pork. However our banana boat desert was very impressive & delicious. Great location just off the seafront. We thought the price of £

The staff are lovely, it's got a really nice cozy atmosphere and prices are reasonable.
Our food was delicious and the portions are great. We came here on a whim while I'm holiday and are so glad we did!
Would have been five stars but for reaching the front of the queue and ordering our drinks we were informed we'd have to repeat the process because we were unsure of exactly what we wished to eat. But once our food order was taken the service was swift. ( May we suggest the management make the menu
Food was fantastic and great service. Some very rude customers, felt very sorry for the staff. But I would definitely recommend the beautiful breakfast and Sunday roast!

Highest compliments to this establishment, the whole experience was outstanding. We were a hungry family after participating in your local rugby festival over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed your homemade food. Great place is Fortes and historic place too which has been on the same place for as long as I know and had a knicker bocker glory and also had 3 scoops of ice cream in one cone. I would recommend Fortes to anyone who visits Burnham on Sea or is a local and wants to have time to themselves especial

Very clean restaurant, staff friendly, had an issue with my food but staff rectified this immediately and were very attentive and extremely professional. Would highly recommend.
Been here for over 50 years food usually good but the ice cream is 1st choice every time for my children now following on with the grandchildren can we go to Forte's for ice cream please
