This place is quite special inside. It is a spectacular conversion of the post office.
The food was ace, I recommend making the most of the meat.
It is an odd way of eating, go and get a plate. Put your veg on it and wait for meat to arrive. It comes to your table and is carved in front of you. Then you eat, 10 minutes later more meat arrives, etc till you have had 7-8 different cuts of meat.
It is rather expensive. Fixed price £25 each before drinks
So remember eat the meat...and don't fill up on veg.
If you like steak...it is heaven.
If you are a light bite person, it's not going to be for you.
Great night out. Food was cooked to perfection. Staff very friendly. You get two cards. Red for stop and Green for carry on eating. So you can choose when they come round with the meat on skewers if you want some more. Toilets are very large, clean and plenty of room in the wash area. Idea for that special night out. Vegetarian options available. Early booking recommended as gets very busy. Live music on in the evening.
Highly recommend and will be going back again soon. Can not fault this restaurant at all. We really enjoyed our food the meat was a really High quantity. A great atmosphere, friendly staff who were very helpful and was very clean and presentable.
I recommend you go you will not regret it.
really a great place, elegant but not too much, suitable for families, and especially suitable for those who love meat. we made the menu all at will. I was very happy. the meat is excellent, well cooked and tasty, the choice of side dishes also. perhaps the only flaw is the cost around 50 pounds for two people. but at the end it can be done once in a while.
Lovely atmosphere. Very attentive staff, actually brought you what you requested and not forget you as a lot of other places. Amazing food, good quality, fresh and good selection of wine. Will be going again.
Nice place to eat. Food was nice only if you got first chance of cuts. After that the meat was raw and cold sorry to say.
Plus the live music was a little loud not much chance to hold a conversation. This place is nice but as other folk have said there are better places like this to eat at.

We have eaten here 3 times now and each time it has been an experience every time so much meat! The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is a good idea to book the Gin cocktails are good too!
Nice burger and fries but my burger had ketchup on which I hate but I did eat it anyway ,maybe just leave it for people to put their own on
The food and drinks were both incredible. Amazing service too. Such a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. Definitely would recommend. Will be back again very soon.
Went for the first time last night. Good to see a familiar face front of house flat cap man 👍 exceptional service from start to finish. Lovely atmosphere, lighting, decor and atmosphere bob on. No waiting, meat cooked perfect, salad and side bar well looked after with plenty of choice. Drinks well priced and a good choice. Slight repetition on meats and definitely not 15 different cuts. We had picanha twice, chorizo, chicken, sirloin and skirt. No fish. To be fair it was plenty though. Desserts were huge and can’t decide if home made or bought in. Either way they were yum. Two meals two desserts two drinks and 4 wine cane to just over £100 which is well worth it. Definitely returning. Well done 👋👍 you
