Lovely pub, beautifully situated with stunning views.. decent menu with pies, steaks, Chicken dishes, fish, veggie dishes etc we ordered fish and chips and ham egg and chips, and the food was really tasty! Very good quality grub indeed, the prices were manageable. Yhe staff were really pleeasant and helpful too. Will definitely come here again..
This was my visit to ‘Shooters Arms’ and I was very impressed. It was quite a walk up to the pub but the views are stunning and on arrival, we were greeted by the landlord who took us to our table. He then arranged drinks for us and brought the menu and advised us of the specials. There was a variety of meals available for both adults and children. We ordered and the quality of the food was excellent. The lady who served us was polite and helpful and made us feel valued customers. There were 7 of us,3 adults and 4 children, with no complaints from anyone !....and 7 clean plates!. The food price is very competitive and there was a variety of ales and drinks at the bar. There are more details on their website of menu’s etc. I would highly recommend a visit to ‘Shooters Arms’ for quality meals, in a relaxed clean environment and a huge ‘thank you’ to the landlord and his staff, a great experience.
An absolute beautiful pub. My last and only visit was in June 2018, but I still can't stop thinking about it. Can't wait to be back one day.
Myself and my partner visited for the first time this evening. Lovely location, with beautiful views. The pub itself, again was a lovely place and the food tasted terrific. The burger was so tasty. We will definitely be coming back for another visit.
Just been here with my wife and step son. It was quite on a Monday so only a 4 star for the atmosphere. We had not booked but we're shown straight to a table. Landlord was over right away with the drinks order and menus. All the food from starters to desserts were proper, home cooked locally sourced and great tasting. The views from the outside over the Pendle Valley are a joy to behold and must be seen.
Our date night at Shooters Arms was absolutely amazing, we were looked after by the two waitresses whose service was fantastic, they were so welcoming, friendly, and attentive, a credit to themselves and the pub. The food was great especially the halloumi fries, which we actually ordered extra after having them as a starter. We can’t wait to visit again!

I enjoyed this place, out of the way with great views - one of those places that you could enjoy the view in the summer and enjoy the open fire in the winter - really nice food and friendly service.
We haven’t been to the Shooters for years, but always enjoyed the atmosphere…. We had food tonight and it was so so nice, haven’t had a meal like that in so long, we’ll definitely be back very soon, food very tasty, staff so friendly and warm surroundings, 11 out of 10!
Great pub with lovely views. Food was excellent and decently priced. Service was top notch and very attentive. Friendly staff. Plus doggy friendly. Will definitely call again.
