This Sundays lunch was as good as ever. Have been coming here for the last 32 years as a local & have never seen it ran so well as it is at the moment. Thanks to all the team & especially Ray who makes all the difference & always gives you a warm friendly welcome.

I photographed a wedding here recently and the staff were wonderful, making sure we were catered for and looked after! I've also visited many times with family and Ray is always happy to chat and makes sure everything is perfect! Never had a problem with food but can be tricky to get a table sometimes as this is understandably a very popular pub

Walked in to the friendliest of welcomes, served quickly, all staff were lovely.
Good food choice which was tasty and plentiful. Took our dog, who was treated better than we were, with a puppy station at the entrance with dog treats, bowls and blankets available.
Highly recommend this place.

The food is absolutely outstanding, lovely setting. The staff are really friendly and always feel welcome.
Make sure to reserve a table for dinner in advance as it does get filled up quite quickly and they don’t always accept walk ins.

We went to the nags on the spur of the moment without a booking and the staff did there very best to get us a table. The food was excellent and service was perfect.

Stacey, Mary and the team made our sons christening in the function room the absolute best day!! Service was amazing from them, from the point of booking all the way through to the end of the day itself. The balloons were astonishing and the small details they added just made the biggest impact! The food was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, communication was prompt and clear. All of our guests commented on the room, decor and balloons so I’m sure they will get many more bookings!
Cannot wait for the next reason for a party, no where else we will go!!

We had our wedding meal here and the staff went above and beyond for us. The room looked amazing, the food was beautiful and it was everything we dreamt of. The staff were so professional and thoughtful. Highly recommend.
