Went for lunch today after a visit to Martin Mere! What a great find! Enjoyed a delicious fish and chips, pot of tea, and a stunning coffee and walnut cake (boyfriend had an enormous brookie!!). Really reasonably priced, a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! A popular place so may be best to book. Parking on site too.

Small little tea rooms on the outskirts of Burscough with a very yummy afternoon tea. There is plenty to eat on the picnic table that the tea is served on. A good variety of sweet and savoury dishes, to be honest my friend and I preferred the savoury side of the tea which is unusual for us. The mini fish and chips was delicious and we will be back to try the full sized version. They also serve a morning tea if you fancy something a little different and my partner and I are thinking of trying that in the future.

Hiden gem, home cooked quality food. Staff friendly and efficient. Great all day English breakfast, will be returning for the Sunday roast as they look delicious. Great coffee, didn't end up getting a cake but they looked good. Keep up the good work. Highly recommend.
