Superb place to buy great beer. A very pleasant experience that relieved me of lots of money...not sure how that happened....actually I lie, I bought loads of superb beer! Highly recommended.
Really good bottle shop and a very varied as well. Phil always has time for you to help with recommendations. I really good place to pop in and try new thing's. Can't recommend enough.
Excellent selection of beers. I did my best to pick the ones I thought I'd like but Phil out classed me with his choice. He really knows his stuff! And boy is he passionate about what he does. Each and every beer I ordered was like a treat to be savoured. This is a shop for people who really enjoy quality.
One of the best ranges of top tier beers you'll find at great prices for real rare and hard to find bottles. Fantastic service - when a delivery went awry due to a v rare issue with a usual reputable and well regarded courier and zero fault of the sender - all beers were promptly replaced and dispatched with no fuss in excellent packaging. most recommended.
Amazing place with a great choice of beer. We've enjoyed a couple of brilliant tasting sessions here and look forward to the next. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed and there is always a warm welcome from Phil and Rachel who are more than happy to help with any questions and also help with putting together fab gift sets! An all round gem of a place.
Great selection of beers from some of the best breweries in Britain and beyond. I've had some amazing beers from here that I've not seen in other bottle shops and some great recommendations that I may not've chosen myself, but purchased on good advice. Don't hesitate to go and have a look in and see what takes your fancy, you won't be disappointed. Who would've thought it in Burslem!
If you're in the potteries, seek this place out. Plenty of the usual suspects in the craft ale world, but some varieties I'd not found elsewhere, and some breweries that were new to me. So much to choose from, and the owner was friendly, helpful, enjoyably enthusiastic and genuinely nice.
A fantastic little gem of a shop. They sell a bewildering array of artisanal brews . From pale ales to deep hoppy beers . You will find something to satisfy your pallette and thirst.
The owner/manager is passionate and very knowledgeable. He will help you choose something to suit and maybe help you find something you have never tried before.

What Phil does not know about beer is not worth knowing. He's incredibly knowledgeable with an outstanding range of booze, always able to give you the perfect recommendationa and is totally unpretentious. Everyone should visit Otter's Tears. A gem of a shop.
