Absolutely Fantastic from the food to the chef and the waiting staff recommended by a friend I will defiantly recommend to others. A nice touch after the meal with chocolate mints also
Great Christmas lunch for our art class on Monday. Couldn't fault anything. Brilliant service lovely good. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We have visited here a few times now and really cannot pick fault, the carvery is amazing, the best we've had so far, the lasagne and mixed grill is equally amazing too, prices are Reasonable. We will def be back again soon.

My local pub now since moving to Burstwick in July. Good selection of beers with a different guest ale every week or two and the food is home cooked and excellent.
Love the food Here. We mainly come for a carvary on a Sunday it has more choice of veggies then most places and tastes Delish

Had the Chinese banquet and it was fantastic. Service was very good and the price we paid for the meal was worth every penny. I would certainly recommend Hare & Hounds if you are thinking of having a meal especially the all you can eat Chinese Banquet.
Had a Chinese takeaway with the family. The food was absolutely delicious and piping hot. Good size portions. Really cannot fault it at all.

Excellent carvery with good quality food. Choose your carvery size based on how much meat you would like and then vegetables are unlimited. There is also a vegetarian option available and a range of desserts. Pub is starting to look a little dated.

Came for chinese on friday. Lady behind the bar came across quite abrupt trying to serve people drinks yet shout to me over their heads if we had booked or not (we had). Then told to go through to sit down in the restaurant and it was dead. The pub was quite busy & loud music playing over people talking.
The young girl who served us was polite. Food was really nice could of been a little warmer though. Probably would give it another go.

Myself & partner went for Sunday carvey after only just moving into the village. Great carvey & it felt very safe and clean to be in during the outbreak & current situation. Thank you Ellie for also being very friendly & helpful.

I had a takeaway for the first time and it was generally good. Very odd that the BBQ spare ribs were dry and not in BBQ sauce at all, not a pleasant experience. The SnS pork balls were very dry, the meat was extremely dry and almost inedible but the chips, beef in blackbean sauce and spring rolls were great. My advice to the owner would be to order at China Red in Dunswell or look at their menu because the prices are equal but the food quality is superior at China Red. There are onion rings in the mixed starter which is an odd mix of English and oriental cuisine. There's something atypical about the rice too, maybe it's not fried??
I will order from here again but I think each dish is hit and miss so I'll try several until I find which are the best quality. Very friendly staff, very prompt pick-up. Easy parking. Many thanks 👍

Went for Chinese New year carvery on Sunday. Food was nice and tasty. unfortunately the temperature of the food was only warm. We prefer hot food to be hot. Will go again on a time when not a carvery to try it again.
This is the ones of the best Chinese Ive had in a while They also had a live band on tonight. Also they do take away if you phone first. Unfortunately it's collection only. While worth i lt tho.
Arrived to a table which was reserved with my name on it. We were seated and was told by cook they were just filling up after a large party had been served. 5 mins later we were told to go to carvery. Meat was lovely new piece of Beef was carved, I had turkey too. The veg was nice variety not soggy and even a lovely cauliflower cheese which was fab. Fresh yorkshire Puds came out. There was a good range of condiments and finally the Best Gravy. Well done 👏
