We held a wedding, service and reception at the Dovecliff, from start to finish the service was exceptional, they are professional and friendly.
The food during the Wedding Breakfast was excellent and of high quality.
The evening buffet was again exceptional, something for everyone.
The accommodation was clasical and luxurious, an absolute pleasure to stay there.
If I could have I would have given them 6 stars.
Lovely hotel. Large comfortable room with great view over the river and all the comings and goings of ducks, swans, a heron and kingfisher.
The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. The cleaning staff do a particularly good job.
We ate breakfast on two mornings and enjoyed a great variety of tasty food.
Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location surrounded by fields and woods.
Room was large and comfortable with the added bonus of a patio to relax on.
Didn't have a meal in the evening as we were staying over for a nearby function but the breakfast was delicious. Plenty of choice and well presented.
All in all a great stay and would recommend.

How lucky are we to have this stunning building in our village,! I visited yesterday with my sister and little dog just for coffee and cake and we were not disappointed! The lovely lady in reception was so very welcoming and took us through to a beautiful room and seated us , brought out water for the dog , took our order for coffee and cake, once we had decided which of the Delicious varied choices on offer to have ! it came very swiftly and the cake was so beautifully fresh and locally made. Thankyou to the lovely ladies for your care and making a simple pleasure feel so special , we will return xx
Family meal with kids and grandkids to celebrate our wedding anniversary it's changed hands since our last visit but staff were excellent and food was well presented and tasty. The live piano music was a lovely touch, also had a walk in the grounds after lunch.

I'm not sure about the room the bride stayed in, but for the guests, the rooms were not in the main buliding and had a separate entrance. Nothing wrong with them in particular but not the fanciest I have stayed in. The experience was wonderful as a guest, attentive staff, and the ceremony was held in the conservatory, which was a gorgeous setting on a lovely summer day. Overall I think we had a great time and a perfect setting for a smallish wedding.

Just a one night stop to meet friends for a get together (about an hour drove for both couples). Loved everything about the place : the room, the dinner, the breakfast and the tranquility. We intend to make this place our regular meet up point.
The hotel is in a really pretty setting. The staff were really excellent and made us feel welcome.
The food was excellent quality and it was the best cooked breakfast I had in a while. All four of us in our party felt the same.
We really enjoyed the Christmas party atmosphere but felt it would have been better if the music started an hour later and therefore ended an hour later.
We look forward to our next visit!
