Drove over from Nottingham on the way through burton we stopped off at this lovely cafe. Homely atmosphere, clean and warm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and offered you service as soon as you were ready.
The food was amazing. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and asked for veggie bacon in - very generous fillings and amazing home cooked chips, all tasted glorious!
My partner had the fry up and apparently it was so good that he ended up ordering dessert afterwards.. at 11am because he needed to taste the dessert as well 🤣 which again was very generous in portion and delicious!
We will definitely be stopping by for a bite to eat again when we pass by! 😊
We went for the breakfast and i can honestly say its the best breakfast we've ever had. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The cafe is very clean and tidy and covid secure. I highly recommend giving the Chefs Table a visit, you wont be disappointed.
What a wonderful, unexpected gem of a delightful cafe. This was our first visit to Chef’s Table. The ambience, the attention to detail in the decor, the music, and the fabulous food certainly elevate the cafe experience in Burton. We have used other cafes but now this will be our number one cafe to visit. There is still the charm of the old Nook and Cranny but updated for a more modern experience which includes a great menu, with a diverse range of dishes, and excellent value for money. You’ll receive a warm welcome from Tony and Larissa, and it was great to hear their story of how they set up their business in Burton. I hope it continues to do well.
Lovely Jewel of a cafe with a pretty set up of tables. Beautifully clean. Lovely waitress nothing too much trouble. Cleanest toilets I have ever seen. Absolutely Fabulous Breakfast 👌 here. Highly recommended would give 10 stars if I could.
Yet another great meal at The Chef’s Table. The attention given by Larisa is out of this world, her personality shines through. The food is outstanding, truly one of our favourite places to eat. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome, wonderful meal and good company.
This is a lovely place to pop in for some lunch. We’ve used them a few times, and the food is so nice. I want to go back for the tapas evening!
It’s got lots of character and the owners are very nice. The menu is good, plenty of choice for kids and adults.
I recommend the Caesar salad! Yum!
Really good food, definitely worth recommending to everyone.
Food is prepared for each order, so the waiting time is bit longer but you can taste the quality.
Desserts are so good, that it is really hard to find something that is at least similar to the ones served at chef's table.
We will come back for sure.

I’ve had full breakfast and my partner had french toast ,
My breakfast was best breakfast I’ve had,And my partner French toast with bacon ,feta,maple syrup, that was best she ever had .

There's a Costa Coffee around the corner that's put to shame by the quality of latte I had here, would say its the best coffee I can recall ever purchasing.
Equally the full English breakfast I had was luxurious the food was of the highest quality and each ingredient was cooked and prepared with care.
It's a standout and deserves all the business it gets

Just visited for the first ( but not the last ) time. Clean,welcoming atmosphere. Our hostess was extremely polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. If that wasn't enough the breakfast was superb. Thank you both.
