Review The Old Orchard Nursery - Burwash

The Old Orchard is the best cafe for miles around, the food is home cooked and always fantastic. The staff are also brilliant. It's always busy and I think that speaks for itself.

We had a fantastic time at The Old Orchard Nursery! The space feels super homely and warm, all of the staff were attentive and friendly. I had the ‘Percy thrower’ full English breakfast, with added hash browns, whilst my partner had American style pancakes with crispy bacon. Both meals were piping hot when brought to us, and were absolutely delicious. The food is very good value (under £10 each excluding drinks), and the meat is sourced from very local suppliers. There is plenty of parking and seating so we didn’t have to worry about getting a spot in both respects. There are also toilets on site too! We came away very happy and full, and also excited to come back soon to try other items on the menu! Definitely a new favourite place for breakfast and late lunch. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

Lovely little place decorated a bit like a ski chalet. The food is decent but the service and atmosphere are great. We had some toasties (but they do larger meals and the breakfasts looked big!) and drinks. We'll definitely be coming back here.

Finally got around to visiting..... Wish we'd done it sooner! Gorgeous ambience, friendly, accommodating staff and delicious food. We'd heard about the vegan breakfast (other plant based options too) . It didn't disappoint. 🌿🌿😁😁

I stopped in the cafe while out on the bike. Got a very friendly welcome & an even better bacon baguette, at a very reasonable price. Definitely worth going back too...

I love this place. It's cosy and well decorated - something a bit different. The breakfasts are very large and tasty. The veggy sausages aren't very nice, but that's literally the only thing I would not order again, but you can easily change items on the menu. They offer lots of choice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is easy. They do a good oat milk latte.

Great place for lunch. Lots to choose from on their menu. Fabulous venue & the service was excellent. Highly recommend

Booked a table last week for this morning Lovely welcome by staff who took our temperatures and them allowed us to come in. Gave us menus and explained where to order and pay. Again great service by staff order food and drinks then sat at our table. Drinks and food came out in good time and presented well. Food was very yummy Will definitely be going back

Stumbled across this cafe by chance and was so glad to have stopped! A cute chalet style Cafe with outdoor heaters, which was perfect as we were with our dog. Food was fantastic, great value for money and fast friendly service. Will definitely be back 😊

Loved our brunch visit. Only one table free. Loads were reserved for lunch and this is on a Monday! Food and service excellent - nothing too much trouble. Cosy and great atmosphere with music on the background and people chatting. Basically this place is an add on to the garden nursery. Will def return. 5 star hygiene rating and car park. I’m told on summer more tables are available on the garden. On paying I noticed sone amazing home made cakes cheese scones and a whole lot more. The menu was extensive. I’m def taking my mother there for an afternoon tea. Well done to a lovely team. 😁💐

I often use this venue to meet up with friends. The menu has a wide variety. The service is always brilliant, and the atmosphere is friendly. I've never had a bad experience here, hence my repeated visits. It's quirky, rural, a family run business and reasonably priced.

Really Lovely place to come for breakfast. Super cute and kid friendly they had a trolley of crayons on toys for my little girl to stay occupied. The food was so yummy. The service was excellent would definitely reccomend and come again.
