The Old Orchard is the best cafe for miles around, the food is home cooked and always fantastic. The staff are also brilliant. It's always busy and I think that speaks for itself.

The space feels super homely and warm, all of the staff were attentive and friendly. I had the ‘Percy thrower’ full English breakfast, with added hash browns, whilst my partner had American style pancakes with crispy bacon. Both meals were piping hot when brought to us, and were absolutely delicious.
The food is very good value (under £10 each excluding drinks), and the meat is sourced from very local suppliers.
There is plenty of parking and seating so we didn’t have to worry about getting a spot in both respects. There are also toilets on site too!
We came away very happy and full, and also excited to come back soon to try other items on the menu! Definitely a new favourite place for breakfast and late lunch. Would highly recommend to anyone!!
Lovely little place decorated a bit like a ski chalet. The food is decent but the service and atmosphere are great. We had some toasties (but they do larger meals and the breakfasts looked big!) and drinks. We'll definitely be coming back here.

Gorgeous ambience, friendly, accommodating staff and delicious food. We'd heard about the vegan breakfast (other plant based options too) . It didn't disappoint. 🌿🌿😁😁
I stopped in the cafe while out on the bike. Got a very friendly welcome & an even better bacon baguette, at a very reasonable price.

I love this place. It's cosy and well decorated - something a bit different. The breakfasts are very large and tasty. The veggy sausages aren't very nice, but that's literally the only thing I would not order again, but you can easily change items on the menu. They offer lots of choice.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is easy.
They do a good oat milk latte.
