As always a lovely experience at The Blacksmith Cafe but this time was the venue for my baby shower which is 15 ladies had a wonderful time food was delicious, lovely atmosphere and highly recommend cream teas. Beautifully laid out and so welcoming and friendly to everyone. Thank you so much
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. After a warm welcome we ordered cappuccinos and jacket potatoes topped with a very generous helping of tuna mayonnaise. To finish we had some very tasty carrot cake.
The atmosphere is very convivial and the owners dog made it all a lovely experience. It's so nice to find a dog friendly establishment. Great value for money too!
Wow, what a find! My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary yesterday and were on our way back home. We stumbled across this gorgeous tea and coffee house. The building caught our eye, so we stopped and sat outside. My husband said he didn't want anything apart from a latte, but being a great excuse to eat cake, I ordered a brownie. I was asked if I'd like it warmed up and with cream. Not being a lover of cream I was offered ice cream. Oh my word it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and BEAUTIFULLY presented! Guessing correctly, that my husband would want some of the brownie with me too, two spoons were brought out without me asking. The quality of the cakes at this place will be very hard to beat, that's for sure. The service, friendliness and efficiency of the lady there was second to none. We will most definitely be back!

Hi, me mum and Nan visited this cafe the other day. The woman was beyond lovely. And we all had a laugh.
I would actually give the food 4.5 stars only because theres quite a lot of cheese and I wasn’t informed there’d be mayonnaise in my sandwich 🥪 instead of butter. I don’t mind really, I scraped it out and it was ✨Delicious✨

Beautiful little coffee shop with possibly the best bacon ever. The bacon bap is amazing, even better with an egg. My 11 year old says the vanilla milkshake was to die for. Very kind people topped it off.
I regularly visit with my baby for some lunch (the hot chocolate and cakes are amazing) or just the company! The owners are so friendly and really go above and beyond for their customers.
Such a lovely tea room, a real heart of the village feel. Amazing & friendly owners/staff in very comfortable surroundings. The food was excellent, we can't wait to go back again soon. Highly recommend their cream teas and cake selections.
Very cozy and super lovely. We had the carrot cake & caramel chocolate dessert, which are very delicious. Highly recommend the careot cake!
The owners are super nice!! Jules helped us find a cab to get to our destination and was even going to drive us herself if we couldn't find a cab. Very kind of her!

To call this place dog friendly is an understatement. Run by a local couple, Blacksmiths is friendly, welcoming and full of charm. We had the homemade scones and they were light, fluffy and delicious. The hot food all smelled good and we will be back to try it next time. Our dog was given a hand knitted blanket to lie on along with a series of treats and fuss, she can't wait to return either.
A beautiful Afternoon Tea delivered to a very happy emotional mum who's far away from us during these lockdown times on Mother's Day. This made her day, and ours! So helpful and organised, polite and friendly. Great customer service. Would definitely use again and can't wait to visit when we're allowed!
