Stopped in for a family lunch. Very friendly attentive staff and the food was delicious and well presented. Calamari was perfectly cooked, and it would have been good to have more than three rings in the portion as we were sharing the starters. The grilled meats were juicy and tender and full of flavour. We really liked the Guvec on the lunch menu. The meals are good but not worth the price tag. The two course menu is better value for money but has restricted options. Can't fault the service though, we felt well looked after!

What a great meal!!! Booking online was easy and convenient. We were greeted at the door and everything was great from beginning to end. We had starters-filo pastry rolls, tzatziki, shakshuka, and calamari. All delicious. For dinner we had a Mixed Grill, Pollo Al Pesto, and Pollo Al Pepe. It was all well cooked and presented beautifully. It tasted just as good. Desert put us all over the top. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
Honestly wow! We’ve lived in Bury St Edmunds for over 3 years now and this was our first time to Francela - I’m so sad we did not come sooner. Service is welcoming and attentive, every single dish we had was very flavorful and perfect, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. We got several different appetizers, the mixed grill, and dessert along with wine. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!
Delicious food, service was on point and helped the moment we needed anything. Big open front window was great with the weather as well allowing a breeze in. Also they ended our meal with a free shot of amoretto 😮💨 which was a nice surprise.

This place was a great experience all around. The service was fast. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating to working a vegan option not specifically on the menu. The food itelf was well flavored and well presented
Lovely small restaurant with friendly and helpful staff.
The food was extremely flavoursome and fresh. Meat was perfectly cooked and salsa had a heat that snuck up from behind.
It’s possible to combine smaller and larger dishes and staff will time delivery to the table appropriately.
Already trying to plan our next visit to the area so we can visit again!

We had dinner with some friends and everything was great! The food (lamb&chicken&dessert) was delicious. The chef and the waitress were super nice. We will come back for sure!
