A nice comfortable room with a very good shower. I arrived late and the staff very kindly made appropriate arrangements. A great location a few minutes walk from the train station. The centre of town is a short walk away. A really good breakfast and great service.

We didn’t stay overnight here but came for breakfast and it was incredible. We loved it so much we returned for lunch the same day! We heard about this place from a local man we were chatting to at another pub and were so grateful to have found it! Not to be missed when you visit Bury.

Stayed for one night at Old Cannon Brewery. Great large room and bed which was very comfortable. Bathroom was lovely, nice shower. Rooms were quite hot overnight, even after turning off all radiators and leaving window open during afternoon. Bit of noise from the pub below but all stopped early and to be expected staying in a pub! Breakfast was included and was amazing. Overall really nice stay and we will definitely return.

Our 2nd overnight stay and returning in October for 2 nights. The rooms are comfortable and the cooked breakfast was very nice. Especially the black treacle bacon. Very friendly and helpful staff. The real ale is excellent according to my husband. Definitely recommend this place

We were at the brewery for lunch only, I had pre-booked the table on the website as it was a Saturday. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, making suggestions from the menu on what we might enjoy. The location is lovely, away from the main shopping area in a cute residential part of town. We sat outside, every part of the dining areas is spotlessly clean. Food was excellent, I will be returning, probably for the brewery tour!

Booked an overnight stay as we were having dinner in Bury St Edmonds. What an amazing find it turned out to be. Fantastic staff, beautiful room and a fabulous bespoke breakfast. Superb value for money. Thank you Max, Hannah & the team for looking after so well. We will definitely be back !

We didn't stay here, 4 of us just had dinner. It's quite a noisy restaurant, especially for us older folk! The food is excellent , my crispy chilli chicken with udon noodles and my wife's spare ribs were very tasty and the portions are more than generous. The prices are also very fair. I have only marked it down a notch because there are obviously short of staff and we waited quite a long time to be served. We will definitely be back, but perhaps not on a Saturday evening.

Three of us came for a meal on a Monday night. Good atmosphere and busy for a Monday night ! Very friendly staff but only 2 of them but they ran around like crazy and were very friendly and helpful. The Brewery look is great - retro and I love seeing the brewery machinery

Didn't say this time but rooms look inviting. We were to late for food still took a look at menu 😋 food and the food being served looks good. A good selection of beers at reasonable prices. Staff helpful, friendly and informative when spoken too 👍 Small car park out side but street parking available at different times, the hotel offer parking cards if staying more then 1 night. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Stayed Sunday night. Very popular venue for eating and the in-house beers are great. Our room had all the facilities we needed. Comfortable bed with nice linen. Nice touches in shower room. Shower lovely and warm. Delicious, excellent size breakfast. A slight refresh of paint and flooring in the bar/eating area would enhance for 5 stars. Would return, as easy walking access to the town centre.
