This is a true favorite anytime I visit Bury St Edmunds/England. The meats are always so delicious— properly spiced and cooked to perfection. The bread and the sauces are also sooo good! During this last trip, the staff was so helpful and accommodated our family (party of 25) with a last minute reservation. They were organized, friendly, and precise with our entire order. We also tried the sea bass for the first time and that tasted wonderful! To summarize, this place is a great restaurant and I absolutely recommend to anyone in town visiting. 10-10-10 across the board. 🫶🏼

I thought the restaurant was absolutely amazing, things I loved about it that it looked very posh and had paintings around the place just looking magical. The food was amazing, I had chicken nuggets and chips (which one family member said "very original". But I loved it). I asked my other family members about their food and they quite enjoyed it. My favourite part of eating at The Sheesh Turkish BBQ was probably the desert, I had the cheesecake and omg it was delicious. What I also like about the restaurant was when you walk in you can see the cooking bit and I think that is so cool. I definitely recommend this place.

Love this restaurant. Plates are generous and the service is friendly. Nice feel to the place. Food is really great 👍 both vegetarian and meat based. I have had both and just as tasty both times. I am trying to watch my carbs, and they were happy to swap out rice for salad on my dish. Overall I would happily recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This place was such a good find in the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Family friendly and lovely, welcoming staff. Most importantly, food was delicious - meat fresh and tender, bread and salad on the side fresh and well presented - could not fault anything. We all left very full and happy!!! Will be back again when in the area :)

Delicious food and friendly staff. About £20 pp. Not many beer options, but plenty of spirits and wine to choose from. We will definitely be back for more fresh cooking right off the charcoal grill. Absolutely delightful! Reservations probably not required, but it wouldn't hurt.

It was a second choice, but the best choice. Honestly, I didn't expect much but I was wrong. Very flavorful, I couldn't finish what was on my plate. The falafel alone was satisfying (I shouldn't have ordered so much for my main anyway lol). I went in a Saturday evening and it was crowded and noisy in there (I guess it's a good thing because it's really good food). I don't know how it is during week especially if you're like me that doesn't like a lot of people in a setting.

Visited midday on a Sunday. It wasn't busy though it picked up as we left. We enjoyed the quiet as we had our baby with us. The food was wonderful. You must try the Sarma Lamb Beyti. It was the best food I've tasted in months, maybe years. Service was courteous. We will definitely be going back.

It doesn't get much better. Food and service first class. Group of 8 received superb service from our waitress. Sharing platters plentiful and great value.
