Wagamama

Updated from a previous review. Went in for a late lunch 06/05, it was very busy but the service from Izzy was the best I have had at any Wagamama restaurant. She maintained a very calm composure each time we saw her, and she even stopped to chat about our dish choices which was a really nice touch, I was ordering something I'd never had before so to have her reassurance was lovely. So often restaurant staff are polite but clearly in a rush, so to have someone who took their time to be friendly and chatty was a real breath of fresh air.

Well done to Isaac who went an extra mile to make our experience great, very memorable service with a waiter attending special requests and even turning music down for a noise sensitive customer. After meeting all requirements Isaac still kept checking if everything was ok. We wish the man all the best and I'm sure he will do well in life with such a nice and professional yet friendly attitude. Well done! Probably the best customer service I've ever experienced in my time. Thank you!

Had a lovely experience in there recently, The food was amazing as always. Anna made us feel very welcome. Lovely, bubbly and very accommodating. We asked what something was like and she kindly asked the chef for a taster. The restaurant was very busy the busiest I had seen it before, yet Anna was making sure everyone was happy and had time to chat and be courteous to customers 😊 the beer was also nice 😉

After eating here about four times on different occasions, I am now ready for my review. I have dined in and ordered takeout. Now before I begin I haven't had all the dishes on the menu (If I get sponsored, then I will gladly do it 😂) but if you like spicy, don't eat a lot or just looking for something when there are several options this is the place. Also, I can't speak for the alcoholic drinks on the menu but the lemonade and mocktails are refreshing. Starting with the starters, I give it a 10 out of 10 (I've had most of the starters on the menu and I highly recommend the bao buns). For the main, I give it a 6 out of 10. There's lots of room for improvement. I find that the broth for the noodles needs more flavor and seasoning and most of the other dishes needs a little more salt or bouillon cude or MSG. It gets packed during the weekend but it is a chill atmosphere on weekdays and it is vegetarian/vegan friendly (tons of options for both and they allow substitutions) Overall I'll give it a 7 out of 10.

We been in Bury one few times,foods are in Great quality, the restaurant is very Clean and atmosphere is very nice, staff are friendly & really helpful, Specially Head chef (George) very kind and knowledgeable.he talks to you and makes any Dishes you love to eat. In last two visits he came round our table welcoming us and making special dishes for our table.definitely is the best restaurant & place to eat and have great meals.
