Delicious real ale—locally brewed—served by the friendly owner, Pauline. Full of locals playing crib and bantering about, this pub is a true gem. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
A lovely village pub. I had a pint of Guinness and for lunch had the pork sausages an mash with other veg. The portion was very good as were the sausages. I was going to have the chicken and bacon pie that looked great too but this ran out. My lunch was £8 which I think was brilliant value. The food
A great place to pop into & sample a great glass of Beer, great friendly atmosphere & apparently you can even get Shear & Beer, Haircut & a Pint for only £13.50, now that's a terrific Pub who's going that extra mile to cater for there Punters 🍻👍
Fine enough food, excellent service. Short drive from town center. Sausage and mash was tops!
Lovely friendly welcome. Nice seats outside but it was chilly so we went in. Nice vibe. Conversations you can join in, and that. Beer was well kept. Scampi fries: best from the past!
Chilled out place ,meet up with friends there ,its their local..Nice cocktails 🍹🍸
Made so welcome, lovely warm atmosphere. Efficient service and could not fault the food. Would recommend to anyone looking for a traditional pub meal as something for everyone.
Very welcoming and super friendly staff and owners. The real ale was very nice and and there was a brilliant selection of drinks.
Lovely hidden gem which actually opened on a Monday. Perfect covid safety measures in place and ample distanced tables and plenty of tables inside and outside. Very friendly staff. Thank you for my great pint! X
Friendly and welcoming, first time there in 20+ years lovely atmosphere and a cracking breakfast the next morning 😃
