Lovely food. Wide slection. Cheap prices. Friendly staff and prompt service. Outside dining, and cards accepted. A nice place for a ride out to from Cambridge. Lots of motorcycles. Highly recommended.
Is a roadside cafe...... on steroids. Great food, good service even when very busy. Very popular with bikers, lots of chat to be had. Great stop, will be going back.
If you want cafe table service in the warm, go elsewhere.
Just stopped for a late lunch. Walkers is always our place of choice to stop on this route. Today we had the most amazing baguettes. Roast pork and all the trimmings and bacon Stilton and mushrooms. Absolutely gorgeous grub. Girls serving us were friendly. Food was very reasonably priced. The dog got a walk in the woods and we chatted to fellow diner. Shame about the weather, its blowing a hooley, thunder and lightning and now rain But nothing that can be done about that.
This is the 2nd time I've stopped here and I can definitely recommend to everyone. I had the BTL baguette (granary) this time and it was made to perfection! I will be visiting again the next time I'm in the area.
Nice stopping point, seems very popular but I can honestly see why. There were quite a few bikers when I arrived so I felt a bit out of place with my L plates but that was just me, they didn't say anything. Looks a decent size car park too, looks like you can walk into the forest but I didn't do that today as I was in my motorbike gear, but some were heading off that way both with and without dogs.
Lunch was good, had 2 butcher's sausages with chips, a good size portion (£4.75), and a tea (£1.50), and it's good they take mobile payment too. Toilets were serviceable as in they did the job, nothing fancy but it's a loo...
They do scoop I've cream too, I didn't get one today but they're on my radar for another time, might even make more of a day of it and and explore the forest a little.
Always a good selection of quality, reasonably priced food here from healthy to gloriously unhealthy options. A very useful start point for an offroad trip into the forest. Car park has a height restriction and is locked at closing time so don’t leave it too late to get your vehicle out.
Excellent food can't rate this place enough. Superb cafe offering a wide variety of food. One of the best places to stop at after a long journey or Togo to get food instead of the normal take outs. You can ring up to order and eat there or take away. A+++
Lovely food, good value and very friendly staff. A much nicer place to stop for a break than the chain retailers in the area.
Just a shame the local council can't maintain the toilet facilities adequately - rarely open and when they are, they are a mess.
When our bike group are sorting out rides we seem to get to Walkers at least once a month great food great staff
Walkers is a great place for a ride out any day of the week the staff are friendly the food is good and there is several GF foods to eat, my wife can't have gluten.
We always find ourselves chatting to somebody there so hopefully see you there soon 💗
