I often pop to Costa coffee in Tescos after I have done a shop and whilst I am waiting for my car to be cleaned. I bring my lap top and always get onto some work which is great with the wifi. I cleared one of the tables as was covered in left over coffee cups etc and then opened the lap top and noticed that the queue was long; so tapped away for a while - totally immersed in work. A lady did pop by and said that could I move on because I hadn't brought a drink; I explained about the queue etc and then said that I would get a take out cup. I do respect that she came to ask me to move on and that other people would be wanting my seat - I always buy a drink from there - just this time I got immersed in work. Like I said - I did get a take out tea and of course will go again for the convenience; however perhaps they might need to get a couple more members of staff - to help clear the tables for one and always streamline to coffee making queues....understandably these are staffing / overheads / costs etc...Thanks you as always Costa coffee bury st Edmunds and respect to your staff....

Helpful and approachable team. BUT the hours at this branch change more often "than a pretty girl changes her dress" to use the old saw. 🙄

best customer service I've seen. polite, knowledgeable staff who remember your last visit and are more than happy to engage in conversation. willing to go the extra mile and suggest things you might enjoy but haven't tried . good range of snacks and light bites including gluten free.

This is one of the best Costas for service. We visit about every couple of weeks en route and frequently visit other Costas. The service here is always good. The staff are excellent and I would pick out Simmy and Dave Fox who always remember us and what we have “tea cake just warm, earl grey in a glass “ etc and their manner is first class. The manager has a good manner and clearly sets the tone. Well done
