A very nice place to chill with a drink or a nice cocktail . Or just have a bite to eat the pulled pork sandwich is to die for just pop in the morning eggs Benedict lovely for breakfast and if you want it as a brunch the serve it till 4pm

I have been to Automatic twice in a week. Once for lunch & Cocktails on a Thursday and once on a Saturday late afternoon with friends. Both times the food has been really nice. Three of us had the fish and chips lightly battered and we all really enjoyed it. The cocktails are 2 for 1 on a Thursday and Friday and they were fab. Much better than the ones at the Sky Bar further down the street. I have been other times with various friends and family. I would highly recommend Automatic. The staff are lovely and very efficient.

This is a nice friendly pub which sells real ales which are drinkable and of small breweries
This pub is clean and this pubs main expenditure is spent on its food
It has a good menu, which is always on when open and it has ample tables for people to dine at
Any one wishing to eat and drink out at a pub this outlet is the place to eat at
On Saturday 8th July 2023, we again visited this eating and real ale pub
This pub is a good real ale pub
This pubs downfall is that it has only 2 hand pumped ales on offer
This pub needs to get a couple more real ales on asap, and it would then get 5 stars off me
Everything else about this pub was fantastic today staff atmosphere and cleanliness of pub👍

Different to a few years ago, food was okay I had the club sandwich which had chicken and egg on it (but weird), sweet potato fries great. Staff were very friendly. Still one of the nicer places in bury but different to how it was 5 years ago

Food and service is always excellent. Menu seems to have shrunk a bit but I guess it's to reduce operating costs during these challenging times.

We've come back, we've been plenty of times but we joined my Wife's Uncles tonight. We love it here. We were served by the fantastic Nicola again, who remembered me. She's great. For starters, we all shared the garlic bread with cheese and tomatoes, and Hummus. For mains, my Wife ordered the Piri Piri Chicken Burger and I ordered the Superfood Budha Bowl with Salmon (against the advise of Nicola, ha). As always, the food was outstanding.

Automatic is immaculate, very well cleaned in-between customers. Maintenance of Covid cleaning evidenced throughout.
Staff extremely helpful, polite and helpful (nothing is too much for them.) If you visit frequent enough they remember you by name.
The menu is varied, something for everyone, elegantly served; price is value for money (and the servings are generous)... if you order the workers lunch, you will be served and in and out within the hour (which is great for not getting in trouble with your boss!)
English breakfast served on Saturday 😋

After being practically whisked to the Automatic on an Xmas meal with work, I was concerned that due to our party size we wouldn't receive the same level of service as 11 chickens in a trenchcoat pretending to be a fully grown adult.
Just like when I thought that the moon was actually the underside of the sun, I was wrong. We were treated wonderfully, attended to by professional staff with nothing to lose and with hearts of bold.
The food was almost perfect (the desserts leaving something to the imagination) and was served promptly and without piles of paperclips intermittently strewn throughout (which is always a bonus).
All in all a great meal, with professional and friendly staff. I did see a customer sneeze into his hand then eat chicken wings but that can hardly be helped.

We love this one. The food is delicious, with some very good veggie and vegan variations on the classics. Service is very good, nothing is too much trouble without being obsequious.
The coffee is perfect, and our breakfast sausage butties we're a treat; very tasty, quality sausages.

Love Automatic. We visit often, and have had breakfast, lunch and evening meals there. Most recently we booked a table for mother's Day, and once again we were able to enjoy a meal without other diner's children disturbing the entire restaurant.
The food is always hot, generous sized portions and tasty. Highly recommend the Automatic Fried Chicken with sweet potato fries. Good drinks list, cocktails are very good. Their spin on an espresso Martini is delicious.
Service is always good without being obtrusive.
