This is a great old fashioned pub great they do a lot for the veterans not been in here for. 47 years plus I don't live in the UK great selection of beers and ciders and shots friendly service and brilliant land lady next time I'm back in bury I'll be popping in

Cosy old pub very charming bench seats are firm & low be careful lol
the local beer was superb staff attentive polite love the veteran history plus a nice area with military pics good choice of board games as well . Definitely always pop in for a couple every time in Bury..
What a bang on pub. Proper old school style and vibe to it. Few separate rooms and a nice well stocked bar. Really top quality pub
