Went here last when I visited Bury Market last week. My friend Paula said it was a great cafe and she wasn't wrong. The staff are really friendly and the food is excellent. I'll defiantly be back next time in Bury. I highly recommend it!

When people say "greasy spoon", it may sound like an insult to any visitor to our island, but we we mean it more as a term of endearment... a positive categorization all good Englishmen and women understand and appreciate.
We mean a independently run cafe that does tasty comfort food well, quickly, with a smile and always within a relaxed atmosphere.
This cafe is the perfect example of a good old English greasey spoon.
The lady at the pans was quick, kind and on the ball. The Gentlment on the drinks was charming and efficient. If you're a lover, like I am, of a tradition English cafe, a quentisential "greasy spoon" , then this is the one to visit when you're in Bury.
Bury itself is quite a nice town, and I'd recommend half a day there if you're in the area. A whole day if you ride the old railway, which is worth it! Start or take lunch at this cafe nonetheless.
Always have a lovely experience here. Quality food, very friendly and efficient staff and sensibly priced. Puts all the "big name" eateries to shame.
Smart traditional cafe with range of home cooked meals. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Sit towards the front window for a view of a bustling high street. Bring a newspaper and settle down

Typical english cafe, the couple that run it are nice people and the service and food good. We’re always there early, before the market opens, so it’s not usually too busy. I couldn’t say if it gets busier later, although I hope it does. If you don’t use it you lose it.
Lovely clean Cafe which is Covid19 secure. Excellent food although a few more chips would have been good lol. Lovely Staff and great service

Lovely friendly little gem of a cafe, pies and cakes are all delicious. I have a friend who comes quite a way to meet up and when ever I say where shall we eat its here!
