So beautiful, the flowers are beautiful and my children very much enjoyed the rocket and the flowers.

Beautifully quaint gardens, I love bringing the children here throughout the year. The gardeners really take care of this place, truly are our ‘secret gardens’ we love to escape to.

Pleasant property with relaxed vibes, bigger than expected gardens with homegrown vegetables, main building is a tearoom, with old stables converted into a little cafe serving drinks, cakes and toasties.

First visit, as I came along with my 3 year old grandson for the easter egg hunt, he loved it and even won a prize in the easter bonnet parade.
I will definitely be back again.

A place with charm attended by kind staff. We could not visit the interior because of the pandemic restrictions, and so we are planning to go back. The gardens are quite nice and there is a small cafe. The surroundings are a pretty natural environment that deserve a walk, stopping here for a refreshment. We walked but parking could be difficult.

Small but nice garden with spring flowers

This place is very special indeed. Beautiful gardens, small and a delight to see the kitchen garden, Victorian greenhouses, bee hives, pop up cafe, sun dial and rocket!

Very charming place to visit. The house is a time capsule and I liked in particular the conservatory and Mabel's room. The garden is larger than it looks from the house and full of interest.

Nice garden, currently being improved; I couldn't quite see how Mabel's tearoom fits in as it was a NGS day, so tea and cakes were presumably provided by volunteers, but they were tasty! A great local venue, but I'm not sure how people from further afield would feel about it, especially as the house wasn't open to the public, despite being uninhabited.

So refreshing there. Martine who runs it is lovely and so accommodating. You have to book but it is a delightful place. Not big but welcoming and they serve homemade soups, sandwiches, jackets plus salads. All very tasty. Reasonably priced too.
