Carvery was absolutely phenomenal, we drove past on a whim and fell in love with the place, the staff, particularly Laura and the 2 managers were completely accommodating. My son got mud all over his face and they let me use the shower to wash him down, facilities were perfectly clean. We booked for a glamping pod on the day as we were so impressed with the staff, the service, the beautiful location and all this place has to offer. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience. 😊
A really lovely and quirky place to stop for a beautiful coffee! The staff were very friendly, the coffee delicious and the place full of warmth, joy and things to look at!
Cosy, little pub with great food! Super convenient when doing the Offa's dyke path. We had the Fish and Chips and they even had a gluten-free option which was great! We should have gone for the large portion though as the medium portion was quite small. It would also be nice with large bottles of ketchup, mayo etc. to avoid all the trash from the small packaging. We were sitting in the courtyard which was great as a hiker (and smelly feet) :) We also had some nice tea afterwards, but unfortunately the milk came in small packages. It would be nicer with a little jug of milk :)
But overall a great place! They even have sandwhiches for take-away (not glutenfree though).
We stop off here for a Sunday lunch on the way home from Dolgellau and the food was amazing the staff were lovely and it was very clean will definitely stop on the way home from our caravan next time when we are passing thanks
Had a fantastic evening and overnight stay at the Green Dragon. Excellent food and great service from the friendly staff. We will certainly be returning. Great value for the money.
Place is really good for a break or even an overnight stop. Food is excellent and atmosphere pleasant.
If you're bringing a caravan to the site, make sure you know where the entrance is.
Lovely pub on the border of Wales /Shropshire which also includes a caravan/camping area at the rear. The staff are very welcoming and the food is lovely with generous portions. They serve best chips I've ever had!
On Thursdays they do fish and chips for just £9.99 and there is also a steak offer for £30 for 2 people on a Friday which includes wine.
It's nice to go into a proper old fashioned pub again rather than the big chains.
Best place I’ve stopped in a long time just got back from a couple of nights in the glamming pod it was lovely the food in the pub was spot on and my dog was treated so well even brought him out a sausage while we ate will definitely be back for another stay with Albert

Lovely atmosphere on live music nights. Welcoming and good selection of vegan and vegetarian food. Stowford Press cider and good selection of local real ales
